The ACC8000 with the serial adapter option enables the user to use the Mx4 Octavia controller outside of the computer rack as a stand-alone unit or as a serially programmable unit inside the computer. In addition, the Acc8 may be used in conjunction with other Mx4 daughter boards such as the Vx8++ drive controller, STP4 stepper motor controller, etc.
