The Mx4002_AC, (Mx42 ac) is a standalone dual-axis commutation controller. It features position, velocity, torque, commutation, and PWM controls! Using the powerful DPSL language, this controller can perform a variety of coordinated-motion programs. The Mx4002_AC closes the current loops and performs vector control for brushless DC and AC-induction motors. It also allows the user to program the PWM-switching frequency. Three on-board digital signal processors provide the entire computation power for two motors.

Its programming support includes DSPL, a C-like programming language which utilizes the Mx4's DSP processing power, enabling the controller to perform computer, PLC, and motion controller functions in control applications.
